1925 - 2013

Joseph-André Motte takes Major in 1948 of the School of Decorative arts to the Industry and joins Marcel Gascoin's studio in 1952, when he meets in particular Pierre Guariche. Next year, he create with Pierre Guariche and Michel Mortier, the studio of plastic research (ARP), while creating his own agency. He is then the beginning of an importante career. He cooperates in the big works of period as the terminal of Roissy and Orly. He is considered as the architect decorator who gave most models to the French industry, by having knowing how to be inspired by currents of the fashion, without having neglected the aesthetic and practical criteria of his creations. His furniture and seats will be edited by the Group 4 Charron, Rougier, Steiner and Disderot for lamps
